Hi, I am an Indian Muslim. Some might read that as ‘snake-charming terrorist’. And in case you don’t, there’s something seriously wrong with you. What is life without a bit of detestation? Don’t you dread that the world may come to peace? The world does not have enough hate. We need you to change your mind. If you don’t know where to start, I have a few pointers.
Don’t think out of your socio-cultural context:
In order to maintain your level of hatred, it’s very important to be encased in your cultural bubble. You don’t want to be bombarded with different perspectives, do you?
Trust your local news channel for your daily dose of information:
Be oblivious to the fact that media coverage is selective, filtered and biased. You’re required by the people in-charge to nurture and reinforce that belief system, the one they helped create.
Don’t humanise the other community:
Think of them in simple generalised stereotypes. All black people are crack victims. All white people are privileged. Always helps. Empathy will render your stance weak.
Don’t interact with people with different set of beliefs:
Better yet, do so with a closed mind. Don’t forget to hurl abuses while you’re at it. Why waste your limited brain cells in an empathetic and polite argument, right?
Hate on without hesitation.
Ooo I have a better one. I am a Hijabi Indian Muslim. Please read ‘oppressed snake-charming terrorist’.
